Our Community
Ugborough is a vibrant and welcoming community based in an essentially rural village in the South Hams. With a strong farming tradition, the village is now close enough to the A38 to allow commuting to both Plymouth and Exeter and, with rail links through Ivybridge and Totnes, some villagers also work part-time in London. However, the strong community sense of belonging and involvement continues with lots of activities taking place within the village itself.
These are some of the local organisations within Ugborough - there are also lots of local clubs and groups listed here

Ugborough School
Ugborough and Bittaford PreSchool
A committee led pre-school that first opened in Ugborough in 1994 and amalgamated with Bittaford in 2009. They offer wrap-around care with Breakfast Club and After-school Club between the hours of 8am and 6pm five days a week, term time only.
Situated next door to the Primary School in Ugborough Village Hall results in strong links with the school and also enables them to easily access their playground and other facilities.Visit website here.
